摘要: Schizopygopsis chengi baoxingensis, a species belongs to Schizopygopsis group, is an endemic and rare fish in China. Due to the destruction of the habitat, the natural population of S. c. baoxingensis has decreased dramatically in recent years. Insufficient molecular markers have limited the effective conservation and management of this species. In the present study, we reported the isolation and characterization of 73 SNP markers in S. c. baoxingensis. The minor allele frequency ranged from 0.0139 to 0.500. The observed heterozygosity varied from 0.028 to 0.917, while the expected heterozygosity ranged from 0.028 to 0.507. Polymorphic information content ranged from 0.027 to 0.375. Among these SNPs, only eleven loci showed significant departures from the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The novel polymorphic SNPs will be helpful for the future study on genetic management and population conservation for this species.
