摘要: Crofton weed is responsible for considerable economic and environmental losses in many countries and no effective measures have been found to control it. The objective of the present study is to develop an effective way to make use of this weed in commercial mushroom. cultivation. Oyster mushroom. Jinfeng 2-1 was selected out of a number of oyster mushroom strains and cultivated for this experiment. Mycelial growth rate and mushroom yield in three different substrate formulas of different proportions of crofton weed were observed. The results indicated that the strain Jinfeng 2-1 grew well on the pure crofton weed substrate and the substrates mixed with other materials, but mycelial growth was much slower in the substrates with crofton weed than in the control. There was no significant difference in mushroom yield among the treatments with crofton weed but. yield was significantly lower than that of the control.
